Nicki Minaj Sued for Alleged Assault

Garrett also alleges that after the altercation, Minaj’s team refused to allow him to board the tour bus, forcing him to make his own arrangements in Detroit. As a result of the incident, Garrett is now demanding compensation for the damages and emotional distress caused by the alleged assault.

While Nicki Minaj has not yet responded directly to the lawsuit, her attorney, Judd Burstein, spoke to TMZ, dismissing the claims. He stated, “No complaint has been filed against Ms. Petty (Minaj’s real name), and therefore, we are unaware of the specific allegations. If the lawsuit is accurate as reported by TMZ, it is completely false.”

This lawsuit is not the first legal issue Minaj has faced during her Pink Friday 2 world tour. In May 2024, she was arrested in Amsterdam for allegedly being caught with drugs. However, Minaj denied the accusations, and she was eventually fined and released without facing criminal charges.
