Tom Holland Plans Intimate Christmas with Zendaya While Hinting at a Long-Term Future Together

Tom Holland, the British star of Spider-Man, has revealed his plans for a cozy Christmas celebration with his girlfriend, Zendaya, and her family. The 28-year-old actor also dropped hints about their future, calling the Euphoria star “the best thing that ever happened to me.”

The couple, who began dating in 2021 after meeting on the set of Marvel’s Spider-Man, will spend the holidays together at a “secret location” in the U.S. While Tom will be away from his family in England, he’s excited about this year’s festive season after a tough Christmas abroad in the past.

Discussing his upcoming Christmas, Tom shared:
“This year, I’ll be in the U.S. with my girlfriend’s family, which will be great fun. Where we’re going is still a secret.”

The actor reflected on a past Christmas spent alone in America due to contracting COVID:
“The first time I spent Christmas away from home was in the U.S. It wasn’t by choice… I’d been filming two movies back-to-back during COVID and avoided getting sick the whole time. But right after the premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home, I tested positive for COVID and spent two weeks isolated in a hotel guest room. It was a pretty tough Christmas.”

“This year is going to be amazing. I can’t wait!”

Looking ahead to next year, Tom hinted at the possibility of bringing their families together for the holidays:
“Instead of splitting time between each other’s families, we’re thinking about combining them for a joint celebration. The idea has been planted, but with both of us being actors, planning is a bit chaotic.”

Cooking for Zendaya: A Work in Progress

Tom enjoys cooking, but he admitted that preparing meals for Zendaya, who is a vegetarian, hasn’t always gone smoothly. During an appearance on the Dish podcast, he joked:
“I’ve been trying to cook more vegetarian meals since my girlfriend is vegetarian. But I’ll be honest, some of the dinners I made weren’t great. There were moments where we just decided to order takeout instead!”

Despite his mishaps, Tom remains enthusiastic about improving his cooking skills:
“I actually enjoy it. I don’t find it stressful at all. Though, I’ll admit, I need to work on keeping the kitchen tidy.”

Zendaya, on the other hand, is known for her signature dish, a spicy vodka fusilli, which Tom absolutely loves:
“Her spicy vodka fusilli is amazing. It’s so good, though the vodka doesn’t do much.”

A Relationship Built on Understanding

Tom opened up about the perks of dating a fellow actor, particularly when it comes to understanding each other on set:
“It’s perfect. When a director gives a note you might not agree with, or if I know she’s not a fan of something, we just exchange a look. It’s like we’re already planning to talk about it later. It’s a saving grace, really.”

The couple, who were first linked romantically in 2016 while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming, have kept much of their relationship private. They’re often spotted walking their dog, Noon, in London or supporting each other during busy work schedules.

Zendaya: “The Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me”

Reflecting on their relationship, Tom didn’t hold back:
“Dating Zendaya is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Honestly, it just makes everything better.”

This year, Tom also launched his non-alcoholic beer brand, BERO, as part of his journey post-rehabilitation. But acting remains his main passion.

“I don’t see myself becoming a full-time entrepreneur,” he explained. “Acting allows me to step back and take a break when needed. But after three years off, I’m eager to get back to it.”

Tom hinted at an exciting new project with legendary director Christopher Nolan, though details are still under wraps:
“I’m thrilled about it, but it’s all very secretive right now. I’ve had a brief introduction to the project, and when Nolan’s ready, I’m sure he’ll announce it. It’s going to be incredible.”
