Actress Angelina Jolie appeared with a bright smile at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on January 3, just a few days after finalizing her 8-year-long divorce from actor Brad Pitt. The 49-year-old star wore an elegant white outfit, with fresh makeup and pink lipstick. Angelina also debuted a new hairstyle, featuring a side fringe and bright blonde color. She attended the screening of the film Maria on Friday afternoon as part of the festival in Palm Springs, California.

Later that evening, Angelina attended the awards ceremony with her 19-year-old adopted daughter, Zahara. She was honored with a lifetime achievement award for her portrayal of opera singer Maria Callas in the biographical film Maria. Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September 2016. Three years later, the couple was legally divorced and became legally single. However, the divorce dragged on for nearly a decade due to disagreements over custody and other issues.

Currently, although the divorce has been settled, they are still involved in another lawsuit regarding their shared estate in France. Brad Pitt has sued Angelina Jolie for selling her stake in their wine business to the Russian billionaire-owned Stoli Group without his approval.

The 61-year-old actor insists that they had an oral agreement not to sell shares to third parties without mutual consent. However, Angelina claims she had offered Brad to buy her share but he pressured her to sign a confidentiality agreement, so she decided to sell to the Russian billionaire.
