Angelina Jolie is saying exactly what she wants to say. The 49-year-old Oscar-winning actress shared her cover story for the special edition dedicated to outstanding performances, which was released right after news broke that she had completed her divorce process from her ex-husband Brad Pitt after eight years of legal battles.

Jolie Reveals Her “Pet Peeve”

When asked about her “pet peeve,” the Maria star replied, “A lot of things. But the most annoying thing for me is a liar.”

Without specifying names, Jolie explained, “Someone feels the need not to tell the truth or say what they want, what they feel. There’s a bigger version of that — and I’m not trying to overstate it — but people who say one thing and mean another, people who are not entirely themselves. I think a lot of people don’t say what they want to say.”

Jolie’s Long Legal Battle with Brad Pitt

While Jolie did not point out any specific “liar” she has encountered, the actress and lawyer has been publicly involved in a legal battle with her ex-husband and the father of her six children, Pitt, for many years.

The couple officially signed their divorce agreement on Monday, December 30, ending the divorce proceedings that Jolie had filed for in September 2016.

Jolie’s divorce attorney, James Simon of Hersh Mannis, stated that she “is focused on finding peace and healing for her family” and added, “Honestly, Angelina Jolie is exhausted, but she feels relieved that this is over.” Pitt’s representative, 61, declined to comment on the completion of the divorce proceedings.
