Meghan Trainor recently revealed she had difficulty smiling due to a botched lip filler procedure but still managed to keep her composure at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Fort Worth, Texas, this Tuesday.

The 30-year-old singer admitted that she “can’t smile anymore” after receiving “too much Botox” and filler injections placed “right above” her upper lip.

Despite this, Meghan put on a brave face, smiling for the cameras as she walked the red carpet.

Festive Fashion Statement

Ignoring her facial mishap, the All About That Bass singer stunned in a bold, seasonal outfit that showed off her toned physique.

She rocked a red Santa-style bralette, trimmed with white fur, highlighting her enviable abs and cleavage. Paired with a sparkly pleated mini skirt, a sleek crimson coat with feather accents, and red go-go boots, Meghan looked every bit the holiday star.

Completing the look, she donned a Santa hat, let her signature blonde hair cascade over her shoulders, and enhanced her features with festive makeup.

A Star-Studded Evening

The event featured other glamorous appearances, including country singer Dasha, who wore a slinky high-slit mini dress and blood-red cowboy boots.

Saweetie channeled Snow White vibes in a shimmering icy-blue gown with silver snowflake embroidery, while Jason Derulo sported a graphic bomber jacket. Wonho opted for a more daring look with a sheer black tank top.

The concert lineup was equally dazzling, featuring acts like hip-hop and country fusion artist Shaboozey. Meghan and Dasha both took the stage in their red carpet ensembles.

Meghan’s Warning Against Lip Fillers

The Jingle Ball appearance comes after Meghan publicly urged women to avoid lip filler treatments, admitting that she “can’t smile anymore” due to her own bad experience. She shared that she was persuaded by a friend to try lip fillers but regretted the decision.

Speaking on her Workin’ On It podcast, she confessed:
“To all the girls out there in their 30s, I got too much Botox, and I need help. I messed up.”

She explained:
“I’ve done Botox a couple of times—just on my forehead. But someone convinced me to try lip fillers for the first time in 30 years, claiming it would give me a perfect lip flip.”

However, Meghan said the results were far from ideal:
“It didn’t work, and now I can’t smile properly.”

Her brother, Ryan, even pointed out her altered smile, which she now finds hard to ignore:
“Everywhere I go, I can’t smile properly. My face hurts when I try to smile,” she joked.

Plans for Cosmetic Surgery

In the same podcast, Meghan revealed her intention to undergo breast lift surgery after she finishes breastfeeding her youngest child.

The mother of two—who shares Riley, 3, and Barry, 16 months, with her husband Daryl Sabara—has been open about the changes in her body post-pregnancy.

“After breastfeeding, my boobs are saggy. They’ve gone from full to empty multiple times as I’ve lost weight,” she shared.

Now back on tour after years away, Meghan says she relies on heavy-duty bras to achieve the right look in her “beautiful outfits”.

“It ruins the outfit and digs into my hips. I’ve joked for years that I couldn’t wait to get a breast lift,” she added.

Meghan emphasized that the procedure will help her feel more confident:
“They won’t be big, sorry. They’ll be small, and that’ll be a huge boost for my self-esteem.”
